I thought it would be nice to post a couple of staple products that you can still wear even though it's hot outside. Personally I dislike wearing makeup when it is so terribly hot outside. But, I recognize the need for a few pick-me-up items to stay beautiful. The items I am in love with right now are as follows:

Number 1 – MAC Lipglee

MAC got it right this time and made a non-sticky long-lasting lipgloss that has the shine of their Clearglass. The Lipglee does come in a variety of colors but the colors all print out very sheer. Number 2 – Lancome Difinicils Mascara

This particular mascara has been Lancome's number one seller for over 10 years. For good reason too, it's long-lasting, not clumpy, and separates lashes like it's no body's business. Ladies, in my honest opinion, all you need on a hot summer's day is a little mascara to brighten your eyes and a little gloss to pump up that pout!

I haven't posted in a while and I do apologize to all of my loyal readers. Tonight was Grace's trial. Grace is getting married in October and is planning her wedding from Michigan! We finally met for the first time tonight after months of strictly emailing back and forth.

I think it came out well. What do you think? The bride-to-be was pleased!

I changed my look just a bit and wanted to post pictures. I love my new hair color…thanks to the genius that is of Jo Dene Dewey. With the help of a little eyebrow shading on my part and a new color story for my face, this is the result….
