I took a quick hiatus from blogging just after my return from Florida. Between being a newlywed and juggling my career, blogging was just one more unnecessary thing on my to do list. However, I have missed my ritual of posting trial pics and talking makeup so I'm starting it back up…once again.

There are many aspects to this business that I truly love. First off, I love the fact that I'm chosen to be a part of a bride's day and to create her look that will forever be immortalized in her wedding day pictures. Generations to come will view her pics and remember the way she looked on that day. For me to even think this very thought, which is certainly a fact, sends chills throughout my body. It is such an honor to have this position. Secondly, what makes it all worth it at the end of the day is the testimonials that come pouring into my inbox from my brides. This year of 2006, I was blessed with 42 weddings with 5 more remaining for this year. 42 different brides trusted me with their look and each of them were pleased.
