I would like to leave you all with a wrap-up of what I’ve been up to lately. As you all know wedding season is in high gear right now. I’ve been swamped with trials and wedding days! Brides, you have made 2007 my best year yet and I would like to take a moment to thank you all for having me as your makeup artist. It is truly an honor to be the one to give you your wedding day look!

In other news, I just opened an appointment only full-service photography and styling studio in Sterling, Virginia. The facility boasts 1600 square feet of studio space complete with a salon style office for my work. I will post pictures of the space soon. My partner in this business venture is none other than Genevieve Leiper and her assistant Megan Mae Dowd. Together we host bridal portraits, engagement portraits, boudoir portraits, pregnancy portraits, commercial headshots, and model portfolios in our studio. Genevieve has updated all of her studio equipment to Profoto. For those who don’t know what that is, the professional lighting system is used on America’s Next Top Model. Below are three sample images from our first shoot in the spacious studio.

Hair and Makeup by me

Aside from the studio news, I’d like to showcase the cover I did for the Washington Post Express this month. They just recently asked me back again and my hair and makeup will be featured on the cover of this Friday’s Washington Post Express Style section. This past Wednesday was the shoot and they kindly asked me to continue freelancing with their paper. It looks like there will be more covers to come!

This picture unfortunately didn’t make it in the issue because they decided last minute not to feature the handbag the model is holding. Oh well…go figure! I’d like to show it nonetheless.

I have to say this wonderful couple is keeping me quite busy with their boudoir ladies! Miss Felicia traveled from Albany, New York just to have her boudoirs done with the Regeti’s. Check out two of her beautiful images below!
