Which Bridal Hairstyle Do You Like Best? And, Yes, Suave Humidity Defying Hairspray Works

Suave Professionals Weather Protection 365, Humidity Defying Hairspray was used to tame flyaways on Amber’s down hairstyle in photo #2. I coated each section of hair, used a 1″ curling iron, let each section cool, then gently fingered out the waves. Without the product from Suave, this 90+ degree heat we’re experiencing in Washington, DC would wreck our beautiful down-hairstyle, shown in photo #2.

But, one question remains, which look better suits her for her upcoming big day. Tell me, which do you prefer?  Leave your answer in the comments section of this post and help Amber choose her style!

Diane Kruger: Red Carpt Updo Style by Richard Marin

DianeKruger1Diane Kruger lit up the red carpet recently with this modern day twist on a classic Hollywood style.  Personally I love the softness of this style.  It’s finished and unfinished but, at the same time, maintains its elegance.   Her hairstylist, Richard Marin, gave me the scoop on four simple steps to re-create this holiday hair DO at home.DianeKruger2

  1. Dry hair with head tilted forward using an ionic dryer for maximum shine and volume (try the Remington Professional Dryer).
  2. Part hair to side.  Using a one inch barrel curling iron, section hair in pieces that are 1½ inches by 3 inches wide. Curl in one direction for a uniform wave pattern, and let curls cool to set.
  3. Brush hair out in a downward motion. Keep brush close to scalp, and finger waves will form.  Brush waves to one side, and secure in side ponytail.
  4. Roll hair into smooth bun with the ends poking out, and pin into place.  Finish with a touch of hairspray and bit of shine spray.  To glam it up like Diane, add a sparkly hair accessory.

The Remington Professional line includes a dryer, one-inch flat iron and two-inch flat iron.

Available exclusively at Walmart; $50 each.
